I’m Home!

Coming to the end of my senior year life has been a little busy. I apologize for not updating this sooner, but am so excited to share it all with you now!

5 a.m. The plane was full and dark. One window was open towards the back of the shuttle and light was pouring in. Whispers of the Torah being recited filled the air. Men with beards were huddling in the back of the plane covered by prayer shalls with the Word bound to their arms and foreheads. The tune of the men and calmness of that moment will forever remain in my memory.

1.5 hr bus ride from GR to Detroit
1 hr in air to New York
11 hrs to Tel Aviv, Israel

Traveling, hiking, reading, studying, praying, and playing in Israel was a life (and body) changing trip.
I did not come home with “mission trip high” but a deep inspiration to seek God and and adjust my life according to what He has planned for me.

I would like to thank you all for supporting me. it was the best experience I have so far and I could not have done it with out you. Thank you so much for providing that opportunity for me.

There is no way to describe this trip in a short wind, so i am going to spread out my favorite parts of the trip over the next couple of posts.
